Sner Emowgency

Yesterday was the first big snow of the season - a snow emergency was declared, plows were roaming the streets, and it was a great day to stay home and hide.

Turning two 8×8 chessboards into a 10×10

I haven’t actually created a physical one yet but I figured out how to nicely cut two 8×8 chessboards into a 10×10 one, conserving the center fold and the borders.

Garden Again

The garden has grown so much since I took those pictures (and posted them late) that I had to take more.

We’re having a rainy Fourth of July but the asagao are loving it. See how tall they are!
