Meat CSA

This year we joined the meat CSA at Stillman’s at the Turkey Farm and today was the first pickup. It was a real adventure, given the (cold) weather and the bad signs on the T but I think it will be worth it.

We got the quarter share, which is ten pounds of meat a month, and this month we received the following:

  • 1 lb lamb chop
  • 1 lb spare ribs
  • 2 x 1.5 ground beef
  • 2 x 1.5 ground pork
  • .75 lb pork chop
  • 2.25 lb pork roast

Now it’s time to make chili.
